The Power of Groups
I love the power of groups for kids and how they foster a connection with others while building skills. This is especially relevant for children and teens who often feel that they are the only one feeling the way they feel. It’s so important for kids to recognize that they aren’t the only ones feeling the way they do. It’s amazing to see kids faces light up when they hear someone else voice the same thoughts or feelings that they’ve been having. These peer connections help your child see their strengths through someone else’s eyes in ways that make it easier for them to acknowledge and accept them.
